Ahhh, my new website is up and running! How exciting. It only took three months, you guys… Gah! I feel so relieved now that it’s finally installed. There were many bumps in the road, but I have to thank my big brother, Craig, for helping me through them all. Your patience is much appreciated! *hugs* So, without further ado, I now present you with my first official post… Huzzah! xoxoxo
Adam and I drove about an hour east to Alpental on Saturday for a snowshoe adventure. It was my first time snowshoeing and I really enjoyed it! Adam is actually a design engineer in the outdoor industry here in Seattle so it was awesome getting to see and use a product he helps create every day at work.
The snow was really fresh and looked so pretty on the trees. Washington is beautiful year round, and it’s great being able to get out and explore no matter what season it is. We only walked about two miles on the trail, but I think I got a good feel for it and would definitely do it again. Have you ever tried snowshoeing? What do you think of it?

Keep exploring sis. Time flies by faster than you can ever realize. Love you much. Your other older brother, rick.

These pictures are beautiful! I want to try snowshoeing so badly, but the only time I had the opportunity to last year in Tahoe there was no snow 🙁 So couldn’t really shoe without the snow. I definitely want to try it if I go somewhere snowy this winter!

We used to do snowshoeing in middle school and high school gym class. (Is that the most Canadian thing ever, or what?) I haven’t done it since then but I always enjoyed it. And the trail you were on looks beautiful! I miss the mountains.

Haha! That’s amazing. It’s sort of like how we had bowling as a gym elective in Wisconsin. It was so pretty. I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of the mountains here!
