Our Baby Shower in Wisconsin

Last week, Adam and I traveled to Wisconsin for our baby shower. My friend Ashley organized everything and my mom was in charge of all of the food. We decided to do more of a casual shower, so men and children were also invited. We basically just hung out, ate food, and played a handful of games. It was perfect, and sooo nice to see everyone again! Our theme was simple: foxes and greenery... And everyone kept asking me why. "What's up with the foxes?" Hahah, I don't know, I just love foxes, okay!? I'm super proud of myself for not going overboard on fox stuff in the nursery, by the way.We decided to hire a photographer (thank you, Nicole!) so we could have some nice photos from the party to stick in an album for baby AK. Here are a few ton of my favorites! Looooook, they even had fox cupcakes made for me. So cute!Ashley had these wildflower packets made for guests to take home. Such an adorable idea! We already planted some in a pot on our balcony. 🌼 We played a game like The Price is Right where we had to guess the price of a bunch of baby items. Whoever came the closest to the actual total at the end without going over was the winner... And well, I won! Gee, it's like I've been doing my homework or something... 😉 Also - as I mentioned above, I love foxes. Proof of that can be seen on the back of my arm in this photo, haha. If you're curious, I found my dress at Kohl's - it's this tiered pinafore one from Lauren Conrad's line. I'm also wearing her geometric drop earrings. The sandals are super old and I can't remember where I got them from! I tried to find a new pair in a different style before the party but had no luck. It's crazy to think this was my last Wisconsin visit before the baby arrives at the end of September. The next time we travel there, we'll have a little one in tow! I know everyone loves to tease and say your fun and freedom go out the window when you have a baby, but Adam and I refuse to believe that. We plan to keep traveling because we want to show her the world we love so much. I know it won't be as easy as it's always been, but it'll definitely be worth it. 💕As always, thanks for reading. xo
